If a merchant offers aloyalty program or coupon through the Service, we may require that customerssubmit information such as their name, phone number, email address and/ormobile phone number. For merchants using our Service, you must submit your bankaccount and related information about financial institutions where you conductbusiness. In order to identify our merchant accounts, we may obtain informationabout you from third-party verification services and credit bureaus. Formerchants and/or consumers using our Service, we may record your accounttransactions, transaction location, and information about your computer ordevice, as applicable. If you provide us information to improve our products,like responses to customer surveys or communications with our customer serviceteam, we may record this information for training purposes. For ACHtransactions, we collect necessary financial information, including bankingaccount number and banking routing number. To ensure the security of ourcustomers' information, all ACH transactions require explicit approval beforeproceeding.

POSaBIT will not rent or sellyour Personal Information to others. We may share your Personal Informationwith third parties for the purpose of providing services to you (such as thosedescribed below). If we do this, such third parties’ use of your PersonalInformation will be bound by terms at least as restrictive as this PrivacyPolicy. We may store Personal Information in locations outside the directcontrol of POSaBIT (for instance, on servers or databases co-located withhosting providers):Companies provide us with a range of essential operationsincluding fraud prevention, transaction processing, collections, and managedtechnology services. Our contracts dictate that these service providers onlyuse your information in connection with the services they perform for us andnot for their own benefit. Verification services and credit bureaus tounderwrite your application for POSaBIT and/or DoubleBeam accounts and tocomply with our legal credit reporting rights and obligations. Financialinstitutions that allow us to offer you payment processing services, andpartner with us to develop new offerings for you and other merchants. Lawenforcement authorities or government representatives may require us to shareinformation in order to comply with court order, legal process, and other legalmandates, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to report suspiciousactivities, fraudulent or illegal activity, prevent physical harm, financialloss, or violations of our agreements and policies. As we develop our business,we may buy or sell assets or business offerings. Consumer, merchant,transaction, email, and visitor information is generally one of the transferredbusiness assets in these types of transactions. We may also transfer suchinformation in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, or dissolution.From time to time, we may run contests, special offers, or other events oractivities (“Events”) on the Service together with third-party partners. If youprovide information to such third parties, you give them permission to use itfor the purpose of that Event and any other use that you approve (and in suchinstances, their privacy policies may apply).
