Happy holidays from POSaBIT

On behalf of the whole POSaBIT team, I want to wish you a happy holiday and a wonderful new year. As POSaBIT’s new CRO, I feel particularly honored to be a part of this innovative company and to work for you, our customers and partners.

I have been overwhelmed by how warm, welcoming, and inclusive the cannabis industry is, even in challenging times. At each conference and in everyday conversations with our customers and partners, I am reminded of how much this community cares for one another. I’m thankful for that, and for you.

Our team is committed to making your experience with POSaBIT the best in the industry. Since I joined in June, we have more than doubled our customer-facing teams, rolled out a new Customer Success Team, and added new headcount to our Implementation and Customer Support teams. Your satisfaction is our highest priority.

We have made substantial investments in the POSaBIT platform as well. We are continuing to increase our financial institution coverage for our more than 400 PIN Debit customers, and expanded our compliant Point of Sale (POS) to 21 states. We are preparing to release POSaBIT 2.0, which will sport a new look and feel while adding features to better equip your budtenders with essential insights into purchasing preferences. And we are looking at additional investments to deepen our commitment to the cannabis community in 2023.

While we recognize that 2022 was a tough year for the industry, with rampant inflation, falling wholesale prices, corporate downsizing, the end of POB (cashless ATM), and the failure of SAFE, we were impressed by the incredible fortitude of businesses coming together to solve for the needs of the consumer. 2022 also witnessed the states of Maryland and Missouri vote to join the recreational cannabis market, and new legislation that moves us – slowly – toward rescheduling. We are excited for 2023, and are thrilled to be an ongoing part of the success of your business.
